Hello and welcome! A bit about me, I’m a software engineer with a formal computer science education and almost two decades of experience turning ideas into real, working SaaS products. Along the way, I’ve dabbled in all sorts of languages, frameworks, and cloud platforms. I’ve also had the privilege of leading engineering teams, mentoring developers, and helping others level up their careers. I’m a big advocate for agile development—not just as a methodology, but as a mindset.
Fun Fact: The first program I ever wrote was on an Atari 400 in the late ‘80s, using BASIC. It was a simple program to help me learn my multiplication tables, but hey, we all start somewhere.
When I’m not knee-deep in code, you’ll probably find me deep in thought about computer science, math, physics, or philosophy. I love pondering the big questions—Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, the Singularity, the Simulation Hypothesis. Some of my intellectual heroes include Alan Turing, Bertrand Russell, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Carl Sagan, and Albert Einstein (so much so that I named my cat ‘Ein’ after him).
I’m also a huge fan of thought-provoking science fiction. Philip K. Dick is my all-time favorite author—I’ve devoured many of his 30+ novels and 100+ short stories. My sci-fi obsession doesn’t stop there, though. You’ll often find me revisiting classic novels and films like Dune, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Neuromancer, Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell, and The Matrix. I’m also into cerebral TV shows like Black Mirror and Mr. Robot, and video games that blur the lines between reality and fiction, like Metal Gear Solid, Half-Life, and Deus Ex. Oh, and I have a soft spot for existentialist theater like No Man’s Land and Waiting for Godot.
If you're into any of this stuff, we'll probably get along. Let's chat!
